During the brass utensil industrial visit, I had the opportunity to capture the essence of a traditional and skilled craftsmanship that goes into making these beautiful utensils. Inside the factory, I focused on capturing the raw materials used in the production of brass utensils.
Furthermore, I documented the machines and equipment used in the factory. Images of the large furnaces, polishing machines, and other tools highlighted the modern techniques incorporated In the production process, while still preserving the traditional methods.
Moving forward, I documented the various stages of the manufacturing process. Captured the craftsmen working meticulously on their workstations, shaping and molding the brass into beautiful utensils. Their skill and precision were evident in the way they hammered, polished, and engraved intricate designs onto the brass surfaces. I paid special attention to capturing close-up shots of the artisan's hands and tools, as they held the raw materials and worked on creating the utensils.
